You (and your engine) were very inspirational to me when I first arrived here and was confused about which engine to go with (remember my 1st post here: 418 SB or 522 BB? That post had everyone dancing in the streets for quite awhile!). Although I ended up with a 427 (MB?) you did the best job of trying to convince me that the 418 was the better choice between the 2. Your "little" 418 puts many a BB to shame. Best of luck to you! ttt BTW, I noticed that you have 305's on the back. What brand are they and how do you like them? |

Thanks for the kind words! I thought the car would have sold by now also, but HEY, I still have a 550 HP beast in my garage. Life is not all bad.....he-he The 305's are BFG's, and to my knowledge, they are no longer made. This car has been sold 3 times for sure, and once almost. Lot's of reasons from those who said they wanted to buy it, and wanted to put cash down. Hell, one guy DID put cash down! But I still own it, go figure....????? You got a fantastic car! I am glad for you! Eric :MECOOL: |
There is always a buyer out there but in a soft market it just takes a bit longer. One thing for sure, when you sell on of these and I have sold 4 now, you always want another. Already planning my 5th one!

You are right! I am already planning the next build. I like the Genesis block build we talked about. Had the car out for a cruise today, runs strong and faster than Saddam into a spider hole! ;) If someone wants to drive a car right now, the car is still for sale!
