Can you describe the authenticity of this Cobra? :D

Why are you selling? Are you looking for that spec racer instead?

Good luck with your sale. I am sure that it is outside of my budget.

JW

REAL 1 06-01-2004 04:25 PM

Nope. Not looking for a spec racer. Just getting tired of the "Cobra" thing. Been living it for nearly 10 years. Tired of the show thing. I don't track it. Don't feel like show'n it anymore. So I just putt around in it.

May go to the new Porsche GT3. It has windows and AC. Who knows.

I'm in no rush.

Chaplin 06-01-2004 06:24 PM

What? Will there be a 4-sale sign on it at the Cobra Revolution?

xlr8or 06-01-2004 06:24 PM

Say it ain't so....

Now Shelby will have to find someone else to argue the Real/Replica debate.

Ok who else we got lined up for entertainment.

Good luck with the sale Evan.

pk 06-01-2004 06:40 PM

JWheaton 06-01-2004 07:27 PM

Oinie,

We ain't talkin' about a dirty bike or the ERA.

This be the real deal.

Evan,

Can you give a ballpark # as to what would put you into a rush?
Will you be at Cobra reviolation?

rdorman 06-01-2004 07:36 PM

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Evan, I must REALLY admit that I REALLY wanted to jump on the whole 'do you REALLY want a spec racer' or is it time to 'get a REAL Cobra' as apposed to a REAL Cobra in name only or just question the move and ask if you REALLY want to do this, but in the end I REALLY decided not to do so and instead REALLY hope that you will stick around as 'Keeper of the Faith'

Rick;)

wilf leek 06-02-2004 03:54 AM

Evan - whatever you end up with in your garage, hope you enjoy it friend.

Turk 06-02-2004 06:30 AM

Excaliber 06-02-2004 11:09 AM

yeah...right.

Is this a rock-em, sock-em Car-For-Sale posting, or what?
I've seen more enthusiastic solicitations written in phone booths. :3DSMILE:

Right on Ron

Maybe we could add: "for a REAL good time" call.

Evan, we will miss all the wonderful bantering over which is better, and which is real. We will all miss the "really good times" we have had over the years debating the "REAL" issue.
Good luck,

CW,

Do share some of your better ads.:D

Those that you have personally tried and can vouch for first please. :p

For the most part I've enjoyed my participation here (with some exceptions and some individuals who fortunately no longer particpate regularly here).

My pants aren't on fire to sell ol'4206. But if a fair offer came in I would likely let it go. I've got the hots for the Porsche GT3. Maybe it will fade and I'll fall in love with the Shelby again. Can you say "Fickle"?

I kinda miss the old days here. ..You know those calm rational debates and intellectual exchanges on BB vs. SB and of course my favorite REAL vs. replica. Hey, I even got Turk into the Shelby camp.

One thing I'll admit to though. Roger aka "Cranky" was right about one thing. The shows have gotten boring. Just not into it like I used to be.

But I expect to continue my participation here and when a subject of interest pops up I'll chime in.

I do notice one thing. Its been alot calmer here since I have been posting less.

mikiec 06-03-2004 01:38 PM

Well, Evan it's time for you to stir the pot. :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

Oh, by the way.. Isn't TURK driving a Kirkham now?

Mike

REAL 1 06-03-2004 02:06 PM

Yes, Turk is driving a Kirkham now.

See what happens when I'm not around.

;)

In my mind Kirkham is the "AC" of the new alloy continuation series Shelbys. Its all good.
