Default current price

Thanks to the computer glitch, about a month's worth of posts are gone from this thread. The current price is $30,000 If it doesn't sell soon, it is going into storage for the winter.

Default For sale til turkey day

This will be the last time I try to sell a cobra. No matter what the price I have had people offer me $10,000 less than asking price, and tell me in this "soft market" I should be glad for the offer. I have had the car called " high mileage" and "rusty". I have been asked why the price was so high when I started at $35,500, and what was wrong with the car that the price was so low. I had someone come look at the car, not want to drive it but only go for a ride. When I took him for a ride I scared him, and he asked if I thought you could put a grab bar on the dash to hold on to.
I have wasted hundreds of hours emailing people, and talking on the phone. I was told the car was in a wreck early in it's life, and repaired by ERA. I called ERA and asked them about the car before I bought it. They told me the car was fixed right, and was straight and true with no issues. I told them the body looked crooked on the car, and the wheels were not in the wells the same from side to side. I noticed this because the front tires were huge (275-60-15) when I bought the car. They recomended 235-60-15, which look much better. I asked them if it was possible to mount the body crooked on the frame, they said no way. The body was located on the frame at the factory by ERA, and the same holes are used to mount the body to the frame when bonding it. They told me the driver's side fender is 1/4 inch wider than the passenger side. They also said they still use the same mold today that they used on this car. I measured the fenders, and there is a fat 1/4 inch difference from side to side. The frame is straight with no signs of damage. All of the suspension looks good. There are no signs of damage to the body. I mean if ERA fixed it, what more can you want. They built the car in the first place.
I was supposed to take delivery on the Kirkham in November, I have put that on hold. If the car does not sell by Thanksgiving I am going to cancel my Kirkham order and keep the ERA.
I doubt you will ever see another ERA for sale for $30,000. The car is very solid, with no issues. If anybody is serious, email me.

Talking SOLD

Thanks to Paul for selling me a very nice car. His Kirkham should be on the way shortly so hopefull the withdrawal pains shouldn't be to severe. ERA 002 now resides in Idaho. I just wish it would warm up a little bit. Below 30 degrees is hard on the ears at speed. Guess I could just drive slow or maybe I'll get some ear muffs.

Whew, I been scratching my head over this one for awhile, should have sold much earlier.

Glad to see someone got it that appreciates it for what it is, an ERA! They don't get much better than that!

Good cruising.
