Who's kit is this based on? What about the rest of the suspension (sptrings and shocks or coilovers)? As they say, the art of the sale is all in the details.

Default Sorry, not one for the details..

Suspension is coilovers...

Built on a lone Start competition race chassis, there isn't a nicer one built .

Some quotes about the car from other cobra owners:

"Potential buyers, this is a beautiful car. I was parked next to it in my (former) ERA a few years back and it put my car to shame. "

"ONE OF THE FINEST, BEST BUILT QUALITY CARS IN THE TCC FLEET. ANYONE WHO BUYS THIS CAR IS LUCKY IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE. "

"If you ever wanted a Black Cobra, this is the one. Best looking BB engine Cobra you will find. Built by an expert with lots of TLC."

Regards

Jeez,guys/gals,

Here's the link to the thread regarding the last time this car showed up here for sale in January '04!

http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...246#post435246

It apparently has done something most other cars have been unable to do lately... It's appreciated! Last asking price was $43,500.

Am I the only one who feels like his intelligence is being insulted by having it suggested that I might want to pay the seller an extra fifteen hundred or more (depending on what Jim Woodard actually sold the car for) for simply having owned this car for seven months?

Criminey, between Parin and D & M and a couple of others that have cropped up lately, it seems the cobra market is becoming a refuge for out of work aluminum siding salesmen.

So There Ya' Go,

Default Not trying to insult anybody

Just trying to get close to the dollars spent on the car since purchasing it.. what's wrong with that?

Didn't purchase the car with the intention of selling it, but unfortunatley things change.

Enough said.

What is really bad, IMO, is when someone puts a car up for sale and then others go into attack mode about what it's worth etc....

Didn't we all have a discussion about this a while back?

Who's business is it if the new buyer wants to ask a zillion dollars for the darned car?

Makes one really reluctant to put an ad on Club Cobra for their car, doesn't it?

Thumbs up Show Quality Cobra Replica for Sale

Don't let em scare you away Pat. I'm dying to see the action you get if you put your Kirkham up for sale. I actually hope you are able to keep it. Not many could or would put the effort you have into their cars.

TTT....

Don't let the bastards get you down.

Let the buyers decide what it's worth, not the jerks who think they have something to say about it! If it doesn't bring the money, it doesn't mean what's-his-name was right, it just means it didn't bring the money.

Hope it does...nice looking car!

It never mattered to me what a guy did or didn't pay for a car. The only question is:

Whats it worth to ME as it sits now?

,,,it's a tough market, I wish the seller the best.
