1999 Shelby Series 1

1999 Shelby Series 1. Vin # CSX 5277. This is a brand new car (less then 50 miles) with an open MSO from Shelby American Inc. Silver with black/grey leather & black convertible top. 6 speed, A/C, AM/FM/CD - all the options that came standard in this world class hand made supercar. - Less then 300 made. The all new Series 1 is the embodiment of the Shelby legacy in aluminum and carbon fiber. The most significant car Carroll Shelby has ever built, the Series 1 also marks the rebirth of America's most exciting car company, Shelby American, Inc. Powered by a 4 Liter V8, tuned by Shelby American to produce 320 horsepower, the 2850 lb Series 1 will accelerate to 60 mph in just over 4 seconds. The set-back engine and rear mounted ZF 6 speed transaxle contribute to the perfect 50/50 weight balance. Add race-bred rocker arm lateral suspension with inboard mounted coil-over shocks, and the Series 1 delivers 1g lateral acceleration and razor sharp handling. The most advanced production chassis in the world features extruded tubular and honeycomb aluminum construction for light weight and unparalleled strength and stiffness -- at 52 hertz, more than twice the torsional rigidity of most sports cars. But, the Series 1 isn't just about impressive numbers, the aggressively styled carbon fiber body also sends a message. This is not a car designed by committee or focus group, it is purely the product of the new Team Shelby, the industry's best engineering and design talent, driven by the creative vision of a legend. You can custom fit your Shelby Series 1 with a number of special performance options, upgrades and accessories that can be bought (and installed) direct from the factory. Performance Upgrades include an Alcon 4 Piston Brake System, 50 Horsepower Enhancement and a Supercharger. Inside the cockpit, the tasteful Interior includes Leather appointments, Black Trim components and Carbon Fiber IP inserts. If you have been searching for the perfect synthesis of racing and luxury sports car, you are there. It doesn't get any better than this. MSRP $ 142,500.00 - Pick up the car at the Shelby factory (www.shelbyautos.com) and drive it home for $ 110,000.00. (location, Shelby Factory Las Vegas, Nevada)

How about let's NOT have a feeding frenzy!

Mr. Becker...please review the advertising policies and contact Brent Mills about becoming a CC Advertiser. Looks like you have some fine products that our members would be interested in, and we would appreciate the reasonable financial support for providing the venue.

Thanks again for the kind welcome!
