Dean,
It's time for us to make a deal like you were talking about.

OK.....who got it ?
Does anyone know how much it went for ?
It was $37,800 when I left it last night.
The timing really couldn't have been worse for me
I'm intending to sell my present car to buy a Kirkham, but I don't have the ready cash at this moment to cover it if my car takes a little longer to sell. If only David could have held off for a couple of weeks, i'd have been in there bidding
Oh well...maybe next time ?

It went for $49,600- and I think the list with
options was about $57K. Now what engine to
install?? Hope the new owner has $30k - $40k
left in his budget to do it right!

Thanks guys...I don't feel so bad now
I was getting really twisted up about missing out on a great deal but I can live with a $7-8k discount
As for the engine, I have a 427 S/O waiting to take up occupancy. When I built my last Cobra, I had the opportunity to buy 2 engines at a great price, so I've had a "spare" sitting around for about 10 years now.
I'd better get my RS4 sold so that I can get my deposit down
Regards
Paul

No need to spend 30-40 Gs from that point to make that car right. You should be able to find a very nice 427 for 15,000 or less if you shop around;a toploader with clutch, driveshaft ect for 3,000,Jag rebuilt diff for 800.Not cheap but not 90,000 either. Now you can spend 40,000 if you care to.
