I am needing to sell my cobra.Asd much as I don't want to I need to go faster[top speed] and this car will not do it.It is a SMC cobra replica, but it has a JBL or Richard Huddins chassis. It was one of 2 made. This one is set up to road race and was bought with that intent!A bogus boss 302 with a mexican block and dry sumped ,it uses a race mate alt that is behind the w/pump pulley The alt is the only one like it it uses a pre 64 timing cover so the w/p is the early aluim one.Roller cam with motorsport rockers[1.73 intake,1.80 exhaust.]It is accusumped so that you do not have to undo the pump belt and turn the pump till you get
oil psi.just flip the swith and start the car.It has a simpson plat series belt on the driver side and a kirkey seat quick disconnect steering wheel and full fire system.
Like I said this is built to race, also has a tremec 5 speed, mini clutch, and a 4.10 gear and torson style diff. The wheels are compomotive that are made for this car[correct offset]they are 10s in the front and 11 in the rear 17 rim.The interior is all aluim or steel with a bedliner sytle coating on the chassis part of the interior. It comes with a full cage that just need to be finished[no connectors]The color is black with a single gold strip.
Those of you that know about the JBL chassis and have complained the they do not look like a cobra here is your chance this one does.
price is a very reasonable 80,000.00 and i also have some spare motor parts which I was going to build a stroker.that can be bought also.they are a sportmans block forged crank 3.250 stroke, rods 5.4 with chevy pin and a set of aussie heads that are modified for the B&A intake and the pedestals have been machined. For those of you inteseted in seeing the car I will be at Laguna Sega the 26 of dec to TRY and run the car[noise restriction]So it will be available there.STan
PS pics will be available later when i get the photos switch to digital.
