If that were the case would this thread have been started? Wouldn't oil leaks bad seal and all the other things show up after 2 hours of bench running?

I know mine was run in - I was standing right beside it. I also know that it didn't leak a drop of oil. It did develope a leak at about 1,000 miles - Southern fixed it just as I described early in this thread.
I really think Bill would drive to Idaho to make something right. It makes me angry to read post (with a CSX # and no name) that throws out misleading drivel as fact.
Crate motors leak too - I've seen it first hand.
Good job Bill - wading into this place takes moxie.
My offer is still open to the originator of this thread - come on down you won't be disappointed
