Bruce is right of course, although Mustang sniping is still a hanging offense in texas.
I went an looked at a GT optioned 1966 A code fastback yesterday that's been under a tarp for 20 years. Miles look original 88k. We'll see. The parents of the "son" who ownes it are well into their 80's. Original family car. He's overseas. They'll let me know.
Thanks for keeping this thread on the front page

Bill was Right
Follow up to my claim that my friends 67 Cobra was an original 427. No it was not! It did in fact roll off the assembly line as a 390 GT 4sp car w/ air. According to Freddies records it wasn't until almost 6 mos later when the conversion was made to a 427 s.o.. Sorry for mis-leading anyone.

Clois,
This was a common occurance in the 60's.....More cubic inches meant more power. The best part was, this was a complete bolt in affair, pull one engine, swap in the other. No real modifications needed to be made.

Clois,
Don't say anything stupid or that might get me in a fight while you are still logged in under my user ID and password! What is the penalty for identity theft on CC? Today it is just my CC logon, tomorrow it might be my credit cards!!!!!
CLOIS MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!

Michael,
I am picking up a '67 S code next week, that may fit your need. It does not have the correct engine in it. Someone put in a boss 302, and as of yet I'm not sure if that is real or fake. This car is a 4 speed with 9" rear. There is no rust that can be seen from first inspection. But there is about 1/8" of paint flaking of this car. It would definitely have to be media blasted, but it runs good. The suspension and brakes have all been redone. If your interested, let me know.
