Default CAV GT40 For Sale

I have decided to sell my CAV GT40. The car which was completed in late 2003 by Billy Andrews at HRE Motors in Freeport, NY has only 280 miles and is virtually flawless. Car speaks for itself and needs nothing. Just tuned and aligned last month for spring.

Color is Brittany Blue/Wimbleton White Stripe with a Black exterior and includes every option available offered by CAV (a/c, full leather interior, smith gauges, gurney bubble, etc.) long with a few Billy Andrew specials (remote battery terminals, soundproofing, insulation, and his famous attention to finish details). I have been told by everyone who has seen it, none finer exists.

Engine is a professional built Ford 302 with Holly 4BBL developing 425HP matched to a Gertag 5 speed (also ordered and installed by HRE Motors). Car is titled in NJ as a 1966. Price is $87,000.

Only reason I am looking to sell this car is so I can purchase a new toy that I recently found in Las Vegas last week while on vacation.

I will be posting complete information on the car, engine, options, and pictures later in the week. In the interim should anyone have any interest feel free to PM me. I will be happy to discuss the car in private with anyone.

Just to update all parties that have been PM me with interest in the car, I should have full pictures in my gallery by Friday of this week along with complete specifications. Both can be emailed to you if you desire. I would also have no problem speaking directly with anyone with real interest.

Also car is located in northern NJ and is available for viewing at anytime. Also feel free to contact Billy Andrews at HRE Motors (516-378-5461) if you have any questions on the build/condition of the car.

Sorry to all for the delay in getting pictures and specifcations posted of my CAV. Please be a little more patient but work has been a bear not leaving me with much spare time last week.

Should have everything posted here before the weekend. Took new pictures last weekend and also was waiting for the complete engine specifications from RDI which was received today.

As always, I will be happy to answer any questions via PM should you have a real interest. Also, at this time I am not considering taking in any trades for the car.

Need to move my CAV GT40 out before the end of the month. If not, I will loose my pending deal for my new toy on July 1.

As a result, I want to make this fair to all parties who (a) has either made me an offer (which I have previously rejected) or (b) expressed interest in the car (but at a lower price) over the past few weeks.

Provided that you can complete the sale before June 30th, I will now consider the best offer I receive in the $80K's before the end of the month. Car is available for inspection in NJ.
