Ok, I'm done, I was the the real High bidder on the auction and it upsets me that this was going on. Good luck with the sale of your car. Mike

"Panic", it's what happens when you realize you just made a simple mistake that could cost you thousands of dollars.
It's hard to "do the right thing" when your up to your a$$ in alligators trying to drain the swamp and facing a dead line. In this case the 'gators were all over him.
Doesn't justify the way it went down, just throwing out some mitigating circumstances. Hopefully several of us learned some hard lessons here.

I'm sorry, but that still does not explain your lack of integrity by shilling the auction. I'll have to pass (as will my clients) on anything you have for sale now, or in the future. If you had stepped up to the plate and said something like "I'm sorry, I made a mistake and had a momentery lack of judgement" it would have been one thing. Instead, you have shown no remorse, and worse, you continued to shill your own auction with multiple accounts, showing a severe lack of personal integrity.

RB!
I've been busy on my car all day - the last time I talked to Turk he was saying something about the beach....

Look at Cobra Country. It's listed there now. Seems we've seen this guy Nick on this site before but all I can remember is a long thread that was less than welcoming...............

I was curious also at seeing so many "new" members bidding the car up just after the "it will sell for a lot higher than $54k..." and "I'm not worried about the error listing it as "reserve met..." (know I would be and can't imagine anyone else would not be unless...).
WOW, it was at best a "mistake" and at worst (since it was allowed to go on long after the "mistake" was well known - too busy is not really a buyable excuse)....so, at worst, it was (fill in the appropriate term). May want to follow MrMustang's advice from here out.
