Default 1966 Cobra Replica For Sale

1966 Cobra Replica by Antique and Collectibles
1800 miles since build
Color 1997 Toyota Performance Red with Mercedes metallic silver stripes, Black interior

Titled, Registered and insured in Indiana as a 1966

Mechanicals:

Engine: 1974 351W/350hp, Edelbrock Performer intake and 600cfm electric choke carb. 3 inch tall oval K&N air cleaner.

Transmission: C-6 built by John York. 2200 stall. Lokar kick down cable assembly, B&M polished street rod cooler mounted in engine oil cooler location in front of car. B&M Hammer shifter.

Rear-end: Ford 9 inch with 3.50:1 gear and posi-trac

Suspension: Mustang II Carrera adjustable coil over shocks. Four link adjustable trailing arm rear, Carrera adjustable coil over shocks.

Brakes: Dual Wilwood master cylinders with Wilwood pedal and balance bar assembly. Stock Mustang II front brake assembly. Heavy duty 11" ford rear drums.

Exhaust: Four tube headers slip fit to 4 into 1 side pipes, both are Jet-Hot coated in Sterling Silver.

Cooling System: Flow Kooler high flow aluminum pump, high flow 160 deg thermostat, Moroso
filler T in upper hose, 2-1 inch tube aluminum radiator from Summit racing. 16 inch shrouded puller fan from Cooling Components Inc. Aluminum overflow from Summit Racing.

Wheels and Tires: Compomotive HB style 17x8 front and 17x11 rear with Michelin Pilot rubber fronts 255-45-17 and rear 315-35-17.

Body: Nearly Flawless paint and arrow perfect body work completed in March, 2003 using the Standox five stage paint system and materials. There are no paint edges for the stripes.

Interior: Full custom interior vinyl and carpet work. Door panels custom made to fit individual doors. Both panels have large map pockets. Seats are Cobra Classic on adjustable sliders. Simpson lap belt on both sides. Trunk compartment is fully finished. Custom made to fit interior floor mats with matching carpet. Custom made to fit tonneau cover with zip open center and attached using Lift-The-Dot fasteners. Tonneau has pouch for steering wheel and wraps around roll bar tubes.

Asking $29,000.

Kevin,

With the amount of time I see you have been on CC, I'm sure that you know how fickle the market can be on these cars. No money has changed hands yet and no specifics have been arranged yet. The deal could still go south. If it does, I won't be disappointed it just means that I'll still have one heck of a Cobra in my garage, if does take place it just means that someone else will have it and I'll be able to build another one. I enjoy the adventure of the build more so than driving cars, this car is the 18th car that I have either restored or built and each one gets better. I always hate to see them go though.
