Doc... Thank you for the input. As I said earlier, your Mustang is very nice and I am sure many of us replica builders can relate to your ideal idea of the perfect GT 350. I wish the best of luck in your sale. Thanks again for giving us your asking price (Available for a realistic price of $63,750.)

Since you are comparing your car (beautiful by the way) to original GT350Rs, has your car done any road racing or just blasts down the quarter mile with laughing gas?

Also regarding your comment about thre GT350SR that sold at BJ.
I heard that car was shilled up to that price, as many cars are at BJ.

If anyone thinks that BJ is the watermark for ALL classic car sales, they are sadly mistaken.

Having been to the last several auctions and witnessed cars being sold at "no reserve" seemingly going home and be listed on Ebay by their original seller/owners, I can most certainly attest to what your saying.....With the BJ auctions, it's not only let the buyer beware, but the bidders as well.....As for comparing the private sale of a car vs the "spirt of the moment" bidding that happens at any major auto auction is like comparing an apple to a watermelon.

Hey Doc!

That is a beautiful car.

I thought I knew a lot of guys that have owned a few cars, but you take the grand prize!

Cheers,
Doc

Default "Move on"

Doc - Please do "move on" to the next notch on your automotive ownership handle. Might I suggest a PT Cruiser?

Your car is terrific looking, I give you that. But I can't stomach your blatant self-promotion. 105 cars eh? I think you're all about the getting and having of both cars as well as attention.

Turn down the NOS and deflate that head of yours.

"moneymanager" needs an "egomanager"

I happen to like clones done well. They're affordable and fun as drivers, which is all that really counts. It's when they're not represented as such, whether by omission, vague descriptions, or otherwise, that things go south.

It appears to be a very nice car. I hope you get a decent price for it.

600 horse and 12 sec 1/4 isn't that all surprising. The key to 1/4 mile times with big horse power lies in how the car is setup, and of course the weight.

A road race car, such as the typical replica Cobra, or in this case the GT350 clone are set up for road racing! Traction out of the hole becomes a big challenge. Slicks and ultra low gearing for the drags, is not something you typically find on a road race car.

12 sec ET is in the hook up of the car ... MPH is POWER . 600hp is not 112 mph ... My daughter run's a little V6 Buick mid 11s @118 ... She is not making 600 HP .. 450-475 maybe Maybe that was "internet" HP

Doc:
Why does the car have brake scoops in some pics but not in others?

Veeight....cut it out.

Replies in the For Sale forum should be limited to specific questions about the car directed at the owner...

...not personal slams or negative snipes.

Every post under your user name has been stalking Moneymanager. No more.

Thanks
