Dual Quads
I have a 392 stroker and would like to install a dual quad manifold but have been unable to locate one. Are there any in existence ???

Im thinking anything that fits a 351w should work if port matched,,

John,
The last time I looked there were no aftermarket dual quad manifolds out there. Most have used a 302 dual quad with spacers. There is someone here that took an Offenhauser manifold and modified it to accept duals. Here is a link. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/superhart/vcadapter.htm Mike |
I had dual Carters on my 351W that I bought from Fred Hamiliton. They looked really great, and, yes, there were machined aluminum spacers between the intake and heads. It turns out that the two quads didn't put out as much power as a single quad. But they looked cool. I sold the setup to a guy and now I'm running a single Speed Demon 850.
I have pictures if you want to see how it looks. Send me a PM or call me at 310-488-7536. Dave |
My newest P.A.W. catalog says that a dual quad manifold for 351w based engines is "coming soon". No further info beyond that though.

It's about time! A lot of guys want one. I was told by an Edelbrock rep at SEMA in Las Vegas a couple of years ago that there was "no demand" for a 351W dual quad intake. I think there is.

Thank you all for the responses so I guess I just will have to wait.
