70 Mach 1 trade plus cash for cobra
1970 Mustang Mach 1 original 3spd car. Original drivetrain, clean Oklahoma car. Silver w/black interior. Would like to trade plus cash for ERA or Shelby continuation car. Unpainted roller would be fine, I have an engine to put in it. Call Steve @414-282-0176 Picture is to large, leave me your e-mail and I'll send them to you.

Best way would be to post them in your gallery. From there, myself or anyone, could then post them here on this thread.
Click on the camera icon next to your name. Then select "Up Load Photos" and follow the prompts. "Browse" your hard drive and select the pics you want to "Up Load" to your gallery. Posting pics HERE on this thread is not a good way. I'll "link" this thread to pics in your gallery and we can all see them here.
You could e-mail me with "attached" pics or submit pics directly in the e-mail. But thats makes it much more difficult to get them here on this thread without severe loss of detail.

Steve, I can be tempted here. What Powers this Car? I have a Very Nice Shelby Continuation COBRA CSX 4241. 3200 Miles evcellent Built and is a Las Vegas Built COBRA, Not a South African Special or a Mexican Dream car. It is in My Gallery. (Did they ever finish producing those yet?? I have been out of touch....) anyway, I sent you a PM.

Mexican dream car?? Ouch, sometimes the truth hurts.
South African Special? I recently saw in a local "news paper" a reference to an SPF being an "authorized" Shelby product. Sigh...
What a can of worms.
Factory three speed, I'm guessing small block. In 1970 what WAS available? 302 certainly, but 351W or C more likely?

If it is a Mach I, the data tag (if not deteriorated) could verify, but it is missing some of the external Mach I parts. It has no rear honeycomb panel and no apparent holes where it attached, nor correct hood/trunk striping. There is also no pic of the interior, which is exclusive to the Mach. If it is a Mach, then original engines were 302 (base) 351 2bbl( depending on where made and when, it could be either a C or W), 351 C 4bbl and 428 CJ (ram air and non),428SCJ (also ram air and non). If it is a Mach I it's value isn't relevant with the missing items. It should be looked at as a nice Custom Mustang. Value is more relative than what a beautiful Mach I (original or restored) is worth. Until a $$$ number is posted there is no way to judge what type of trade he has in mind. After 35 years of dealing in early 'stangs and parts, I would verify everything and base the value on how it turns out.

Still awaiting the posting of the VIN and door data plate information????
Also waiting to hear what type of value you are placing on the car?

WDZ makes some good points, if memory is correct, the 'MUSTANG' across the deck lid is gone and the Mach 1 honey comb. Also looks there might be a little uneveness in the body by the filler cap.
Good looking street, might need attention if you want to show.
