Your first stop should be ERA in CT, since they're in your "neighborhood". They do the 289FIA Cobra, 427 Cobra, and GT-40 replicas. Here's their web site:
www.erareplicas.com
Pick your poison: 427 or 289 FIA, and then on the ERA web site you can drill down to the pricing of the basic kit and the options. This web site is full of stuff to kick off your Cobra research.

Brian;
I suggest you go to Carlisle, PA in May for the big Kit Car/Replica show. All your questions will be answered there and it's not far from you.

ERA is not too far away. New Britain CT., beautiful cars. Also Unique in Gadsen Alabama. Those would be my choices. I've had my Unique 289 FIA for a year. 6000 miles, some of it limited track time. It is a solid, dependable machine, and I visited ERA about 2 months ago, great cars. Have fun!
