Cobra Info Wanted
At 46 years old I'm coming close to get my dream car. I've being wanted a Cobra for so many years now, as soon as my bike sells, I will afford hopefully one. Since it will be my first and have only 25k to 28k I won't be too picky. I need some help and advise from what I should stay away from, and what I should expect to get in this price range. The accuracy replica of an original do not really matter at this point. I live in Florida, how difficult are they to titled or transfer title from state to state ? Any help or comment would be welcome. Thank you

For that low price, you want to first look for an inexpensive existing Cobra in the for sale section here and in CobraCountry.
If you cannot find what you want already built, check out the list of manufacturers on this thread. I recommend quite a few, but they should be local so you can drive over and visit the rep.
In the low end kit segment, you cannot go wrong with FFR and some others that will be recommended on this thread - good luck in your search.

unfortunately I cannot build my own, or yet anyway. It will have to be an existing one.
Thank you

You are Welcome Jo,
My first Cobra was a Shell Valley 302, T-5 and bought it for $23K.
That was 1992.....there have been five more since then huge fun , two seats(No Kids) great cars and best of all......great people to have fun with.
Good luck in your search.

You should be able to find some nice, used but finished Factory Five Cobras in that price range with a small block. I just looked at my brother in-law's FFR with the body off. Nice construction, but a lot of work as a kit.

Start by searching the internet. Then go and drive as many different brands as possible. The attached zipped Excel file in my previous post should help you in thge internet search - just click on the web site and it will bring up that site.
