A&C 427 SC For Sale Mfd in 2002 - Ohio
I am the original owner of this 2002 built replica Cobra. No expense was spared during the build. The color you see is a gel-coat. A custom mixed color to match Lexus Solar Yellow It is a thick, high gloss durable finish and part of the body itself. It is NOT paint and has not been buffed out yet - only washed for the photos. It is just as it arrived from the factory in 2002.
This car is VERY fast and powerful, yet VERY streetable. It has an awesome lope due to the aggressive cam and comes to life at very low RPMs. It brings huge smiles to everyone around whether or not it is running! It rides comforatably for extended periods and is a true pleasure to drive. It is far more solid and rigid than any replica I have encountered. I have NEVER raced it or pushed real hard, although it is certainly strong and stable enough. To my family and I it is a 400 HP smile-maker and ice-cream getter.
Engine is a Ford 400M bored .030 over = 406 c.i. est. 400 HP
For those of you who are not familiar, it is VERY similar to a 351C with another inch of stroke and a larger heavy duty crank.

Since the Auto Meters replicate the original Smiths, the speedometer sweeps backwards. A right angle gear, not a reversing gear was installed on the back to connect with the speedmeter cable. As a result, it has been subtracting miles since new. It needs to be replaced. I have always known my speed by the RPMs, but enjoyed the car too much to fix it sooner.
I would be happy to drop the car off at a terminal for shipping.
Inspection welcome prior to completion of sale. E-mail to arrange wadesdad@hotmail.com . I will be happy to provide my phone number to genuinely interested parties. Please contact me with any questions.
