Default 1969 Torino Cobra "R" Code

1969 Torino Cobra "R" Code - It has been modified. But can be restored.
The car has a 428 Cobra Jet engine. It currently has a 3x2 holley 2436/2437 Carb setup on it, but one of the carbs is missing. The other 2 have been rebuilt. I know of a couple guys willing to sell the 2437 and if interested in keeping the setup will give you their names.
The car originally had a 4 speed manual transmission, it now has a C-6 automatic. I know a guy who has the 4 speed for this car. I can give you his name also.
I have recently replaced the spark plugs. Did an oil change. Put new coolant in it. Put new transmission fluid in it. Replaced the starter. Replaced the entire drum brake assembly including wheel seals. I put a new battery in it and new cables. I put several other parts in it too. It will run as soon as you figure out what you want to do about the carbs.
The car was originally painted white. I have a papper I recieved from Ford with the original specs on this car, you can have it with the car.
The car needs new tires, one of the front ones is cracked but still holds air.
It has a spoiler and is a fastback or sportsroof.
It has hooker headers and the block is 60 over. I have the original block for this car that will go with it that is still at its standard specs it is rebuildable.
The cars interior seats are in great condition, but the car needs new carpet, someone put some pink stuff in there, and I think its horrible. Everything seems to function on the dash, except the tape deck (8 track), which its not connected.

My asking price is 16k for the car. I will negotiate though. I know the car is worth 30-40k restored.

Actually many people thought they where fairlanes but the title and Ford tells me this particular car is a Torino. I have found several similar to this car online. I have a papper from ford with the original specs on this car. I also have one of the original titles. I have heard that ford renamed the fairlane and gave the car the fastback also known as the sportsroof but they also made the traditional roof design in 69. This car according to the vin number, they made something like 500 of them with the options this car originally came with. There is a cobra emblem on the back of the car. And one on the passenger side behind the front wheel well. There was also one on the drivers side but it was removed and never replaced after the paint job. I do have the emblem though as well as one the that was on the air intake on the hood.

I am wrong, and obviously an idiot. I should have checked my memory before posting.

I apologize.

Your not an idiot. They just made so many different types of Torinos in 69 it is easy to make mistakes when trying to figure out what the car actually is. It took me a lot of asking and a couple months to get everything straight. The papper I recieved from Ford helped the most. I had originally planned on restoring the car myself but will never have the time or patience to do it. And I actually like the car spiced up like it is. It has a lot of power and is very fun to drive. Unfortunately I havent had the luxury of driving it very much.

Question

Could you please post some pictures of the back of the car and also the vin or door tag numbers?

Thanks,

Ron
