CSX2019 Dragonsnake sold - Thank you all!
Now that the dust from the Mecum Spring Classic has settled, I want to thank everyone who wished me luck going into the auction, and offered congrats after. A special thanks to Cal Metal for his staunch support. And to Brent for making the post "sticky!"
Really appreciate it, guys! A bittersweet moment, as Cal pointed out, but an exciting event nevertheless. And no regrets . . . yet.

It was fun watching this 'go down' and the interesting banter back and forth as it did. Thanks for sharing the moment Hal.

I remember several years back when Tommy Zgrodnik of the Rochester Shelby Club told me he knew a guy with an original Dragonsnake, I chalked it up to one of Tommy Z's barley pop induced visions.....
He really wasn't blowing it out his sphincter!

No, he wasn't! Tom Zgrodnik was one of the few people who knew all along where that Dragonsnake was hiding. The others being the Rochester Police and Fire Fighters. When the Fire Marshall came to inspect the print shop, it wasn't just one or two of the guys getting off the fire truck . . . it was the whole truck! They all knew, first thing to get rescued was that Cobra. The very first thing, no exceptions!

Hal,
Tommy Z is a good guy. I did the rebuild and resto work on his 65 Shelby when he "ventilated" the block and original "T" pan at the Glen open track event circa 1989. Took a LOT of creative work and cash to rebuild the "T" pan. One of the corner workers came up to us in the paddock after he was towed in and gave TZ a rod cap that they had dug out of the track!
Enjoy the GT, drive the p!$$ outa it!
