Exclamation ERA vs Superformance

Can't compare the two! ERA is a much superior car. The detail work on the ERA is second to none. I've been asked a number of times by other Cobra owners "Where" to get certain items on my ERA that are "Standard" equipment. In my book you can't go wrong w/ an ERA Cobra!

Good Luck.

Thanks to all who contributed to the A vs B question that was asked.

I must request that we close that dialog up on this thread, though ....continue it elsewhere if you like.

We try to limit responses in the For Sale forum to questions, directed to the seller, concerning details about the specific car being offered.

I was wondering myself. It is an excellent car. I have sold many cars myself and I have learned people buy good looking cars not good cars. Not that this one is not good looking but people like the stainless steel and chrome side pipes roll bar etc.

Thanks.
ERA: Hand built, extremely accurate reproduction (except for the frame and suspension), highest quality. Takes for ever to have one built, not alot on the used market, and not usually a lot of them at most club events.
Superformance: semi-factory built, minor deviations from original (as with the ERA considerable difference in the frame and suspension), also highest quality. typically shorter lead time than the ERA, readily available on the used market, and one the more frequently seen models at most club events (Particularly on the west Coast).
See if you can get somebody to give you a ride in each, or better yet let you drive it and buy the one you like the best. You can't go wrong with either car.

BLING BLING You can always buy "bling" to put on your car but you can't always get a car with this quality.

madmaxx, you are right.

Not yet, have a few people playing phone and email tag with me. Two that are semi local, two that are overseas..I figure the first person to actually come and see the car in person will snatch it up. Those who are in my local club have told me the pictures do not do it justice and are surprised it has not been spoken for yet. Oh well, more time for me to drive it, that's all. Thanks for asking.

Max,

I do appreciate the feedback, but at my price point, any smart buyer knows they can easily have the sidepipes jet-hot coated whatever color they so desire (the headers of course are already jet-hot coated in silver). Same goes for the rollbar, if they want it chromed, they can do so and still be on the right side of the equation...However, since at this time it's still my car, I happen to prefer the black sidepipes and rollbar as it gives the car a more sinister, no nonsense look to it. Again that is the beauty of these cars as you can have it just the way you want it...But first it must be yours

Yours In Fords,

Bill S.

mrmustang,
I think your Cobra is the best deal on the market right now for a true enthusiast. If it were not for the two time talking Canadian prime minister? idiot that plans on taxing energy trust as corporations even though prior to his election he said he would not I would have bought you car. Even though the new law does not go into effect for 4 years I have lost over 70K!!!!! so now my cobra budget is not as large. Its hell to be poor!!!

Once again fabulous car!!!

Did you trade it for that Fastback Mustang? I saw your inquiry on it, that is one nice red car.

No, and my inquiry into the Mustang was for a friend but that seller has yet to respond to my question.
