WTB - Complete Cobra in Charlotte, NC
Hey there,
A friend of mine has shown me the light. He both showed me, and let me drive, the Cobra he has built and I am hooked. His is a beautiful example btw, but a little out of my budget. I want to thank him, and my wife wants to kick his butt.
I have a budget of $28000 dollars.
I am looking to buy a completed Cobra (any of the common kits is fine, but prefer FFR) in the Southeast area. I am in Charlotte NC so that is where I would prefer it to be. Black with Silver stripes, or the reverse, are my most desired colors, but Blue/Red with White stripes is also fine. If your car doesn't match these criteria, but is still a completed undamaged Cobra, give me a shout anyway and let me see what you have.
My email is aldersonjames2002@yahoo.com . Please, leave me a number to call and I promise I will. I have talked to several people so far with cars for sale, but thought there may be a few that are thinking of selling but haven't advertised yet. I am willing to wait for what I want as it will eventually show up, but I can buy tomorrow if I find it now.

check ffcobra.com on the cars for sale listings. Should be lots of them around that price range.

Bought one... thanks to everyone who contacted me with their beautiful cobra's for sale. I enjoyed looking at them all, and learned a lot. I finally ended up blowing out my original budget and bought a superformance with a serious serious engine in it.
Thanks again,
James

Not quite 2 times. I bought used and smart, and in the words of one of the guys at Olthoff Racing (who knows the car and previous owner well), "It is a steal at that price."
I don't plan on ever selling it, but we all know that things sometimes change, so I wanted one that I could certainly get back out of if I needed to. Now I have to learn how to drive this car the way it begs to be driven, so I will be going to the first track event I can get to with instruction.
