Kirkham
Kirham did not buy the car. I hit the ol Buy it now . I have been visiting the web site for some time. I will keep you all posted. I used to build Contemporary cars in San Diego in the late 80's early 90's for Borders motorcars. I know some of you guys will be familiar with Borders. Please do not flame me as I was just a mechanic and the quality of cars were excellent. Not so sure on the reputation. I will keep you all posted! Happy day, happy day!

Is it real, yes, is it worth 150K, after it's fourth time on Ebay in the last three months, obviously not to anyone with the disposable income

I don't know about this... I sense something funny . Anyone know who bought it? That car should be around 100K.

Cool, let us know when it's in your garage. You're a lucky guy.

Thank you. I promised my wife I would sleep on it (new procedure for my addiction) and sure enough it was still there this morning. I called as soon as they opened and ended the auction together with them. I am confident it is legitimate and have the contract. Obviously the price was shocking and I moved. I do not know about the value as it is an early car and I know improvements have been made and it will have some "patina" due to age. This was not a simple just hit the button as some garage shuffling has to occur and thankfully I have a Mustang that had been spoken for and will finally go to the patient guy.

Congrats on buying the Kirkham, you got a hell of a deal.
As for 4007R, yes it's legit, I know the car and the owner. I made a post about that car not long ago in the All Cobra Talk section.

Sure is, I figured the Brothers K bought it, would mark it up a bunch and RE-SELL it themselves. Great price, great car.

It was a great deal. Even has Alum. heads on that old SO. He couldn't tell what make. Very nice car. I would have put some new tires on it and gave it a good clean up and go. But, I was beat out while considering their counter offer. There will be more!

Tires yes! the car sure does need something different. Where are people buying the Goodyear large White letter re do's I see on the continuation cars and newer KMP's? It would be nice to have some sort of build sheet for the car or history maybe the past owner will have some goodies for it

A popular place to get the Goodyear tires is www.rogerkrausracing.com but I understand they are currently out of stock.

Nice purchase! I wonder if this signals a change in the market or just a change in the seasons as Fall is just around the corner??!!
