The car looks nice, the details on the engine/trannie are absent. Those are the things that determine any given Cobra replica price. You can't identify a 427 by seeing it from the top. You have to be underneath to see the cross-bolted mains, side-oiler bulge, etc.

Superformance for sale....
If you look carefully at the engine picture in the listing, the engine does not
appear to be an FE. The valve covers do not appear to overlap intake manifold
in the FE style. In fact the lower flange of the intake is visable. It may be
a "427" but an FE it is not.

serial number is 400, so an early car. scary when the guy can't even get the brand name right in the adv. bill.

still amazes me : seller is a dealer. his pics are limited. he screws up the brand name. there is no adv description in detail; no engine/trans/rear end data listed.
now , does that scare you or what ? we have collectively already in a hand full of postings spent more time looking at this car than the dealer has trying to sell it ! some dealer !!
maybe it will be a steal for someone, maybe not....but I would not want to deal with this southern seller dude. Bill

Just in case someone is interested in the car and wants more info from this corporatemotorcars guy, I looked at some of the other stuff he has put on there and this is pretty common type of ad for him. Here is his contact information... maybe its just a matter of dumb seller syndrome. If he doesn't know much about the car, maybe he is willing to sell it cheaper than its worth.

Blas,
if you have some history on this SPF, can you email the info? I dropped a note to the seller realizing he knows little to nothing about what he has. It might be time to trade the Benz!
