NEW Backdraft Racing Roadster - 408W Mass-Flo - The Best

Figured it was time to list it here on Club Cobra. This one has been our showcase car for events in the area. Only 11 gentle miles on her. Pricing is adjusted for the season and we are open to offers. This car would spec. out over $56,000 if you ordered it from us (or another BDR dealer) today.

Overview: This brand new turnkey Backdraft Roadster is finished in Speedway Blue with White Stripes and Black Leather interior. Vintage Motorsports contracted Legendary Performance to install the powertrain in this factory fresh roadster.

This car features a brand new 408W stroker built by Danbury Competition Engines on a seasoned pre'74 engine block for states that require it for emissions testing exemption. This engine setup typically rates at over 500HP. Topping it off and offering the latest in efficiency is a Mass-Flo EFI fuel injection system that offers modern performance with classic looks under the hood. Power is at the driver's fingertips through a new Tremec TKO-600 5 speed transmission. This car offers exhilarating performance with a curb weight of approx. 2400lbs. Complimenting this package are a number of upgrades under the hood including oil cooler, remote oil filter setup, and custom valve covers to complete the look.

Sweet looking Cobra, Jay!

I am tempted, but I don't need another one from you right now.

I'm betting someone will have a happy holiday season http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8.../schumaker.gif with this one.

Cheers!
Dave

Beautiful car.

Beautiful car.

It can be registered in CA... I can point you in the right direction on how to do it as well.

Michael,
427 is expected this week. Tracking showed delivery date today, but I assume that was to the terminal. I'm off to FL headquarters Tue - Thur to go over the new developments and future plans.

Waiting to see how a "real" 427 sounds and feels in a BDR.

Marty,
You need to lookup information on SB100 ... a little hassle, but a big payoff in CA.

Dave,
You got last year's "special" ... this maybe our 2006 special depending on how things go. While in FL I have to pick out some new inventory :)

I have seen this car "in person". It is a really nicely done car. (I confess I have lusted after it).

You could not purchase a car from a more straightforward, helpful, interested and knowledgable dealer than Jay. He is a great guy who loves these cars and seems to really enjoy working with customers. Just check out his posts. He is always helping people out with advice served up with a lot of humor. After sales support is really important with these cars and seeing the way he helps people who aren't even customers I can only imagine that the buyer of this car will be satisified in that regard.

Someone out there is going to get a great deal of satisfaction from this car. I wish it was me!

Have had some pretty nice offers. If you are seriously in the market give me a call to discuss. This one should find a new home soon.

Cashburn 11-11-2006 12:54 PM

Paul,
I thought the name/location seemed familiar. Have you finished your deal? I see you solved the intake situation.
