Randy, Is your car still for sale? I am just starting to look but will be traveling from NC to Tempe on the 16th to deposit my daughter at ASU. If it is available, I would like to stop by and look at it. Please let me know.
Thanks, Chas

Randy,
Visiting you and your Unique was a highpoint in my visit to Tempe last week. It is obvious you have put your heart and $$$ into making this car special. This is one time my wife is happy I am 6'3"+ and have knees that don't bend, there would be one less space in the garage. I am sure this car will make someone very happy. Thanks again. Chas

Chas,
I'm glad you could stop by. It was a pleasure
to meet you. Thanks for your kind words about
my car and the sooner your knee is fixed the
sooner you will have one less space in the
garage.
Randy...

Just out of curiousity, I guess I'm missing something, if Bob Evans at 7' 4" fits a Unique 289, how come a 6' 3" "midget" can't fit yours? I'm 6' 0", weigh 300lbs, and have a hardtop on my unique and I fit OK. I have no seat adjuster, seat is ALL the way to rear, I have the dropped floor pan (1997 & up) and the dash is moved one inch forward. I also put the steering column up 3/4" to clear my big stomach. My son is 6' 4", 210lbs. and he fits perfectly.

It is not the Cobra's fault, I may only be a squat 6'3" at about 215 but my left knee doesn't bend (sports abuse) and I couldn't get to a position where I could work the clutch. Am currently scheduled to have it replaced at the end of November. After that, I will be ready to go. I have to believe that to get into one of these at 7'4" you either have to be a pretzel or double jointed.

Wow!...I'm already up to 7'4" tall! If I keep growing, I'll be over 8'0" before Christmas. :)
Actually, I'm only 7'1" tall, and 265lbs., and yes I do fit. It takes a little work, but it can be done as evidenced by the picture below.
