This guy just tried to buy my friends 10K motor. All the usual signs, great cover story on why he needs to do the transaction quickly and can't call. He's in the military yeah right. No questions at all about the motor.
He really wants to do the deal through Paypal and it's so easy to sign up just click here. Funnily enough the paypal link had a couple of extra letters on it. I'm thinking maybe he has his own paypal going on. Be warned sellers.

P.S. I did have several scammers reach out to me when I was selling my Cadillac on Craigslist last year. I think they just wanted me to use their services (car quotes and the like) but they used a ruse to try to get me to visit their website. Probably not as nefarious as it seemed at the time, but a ruse nonetheless, with unknown consequences.
I can take care of "them nigerians", it's only a 10 hour trip from Cape Town...

Just like everyone else has described, his email said he was active duty, too busy to call, and could only use paypal. His email included a link to a phony PayPal website.
