I am looking at Midstates, ERA,Johnex, Rucc, Unique, Everete Morrison. They all look good to me.. Can someone help???
I live in the SF Bay Area and I am concerned with quality first then price second. I am building a 428 FE motor now then I am going to purchace my kit in phases. So needless to say I need help finding a good Co. to work with...

Mike,
The short answer is that all of the companies you mentioned make great cars. All of them (with the possible exception of RUCC) have been in the business a long time and offer great customer service.

ERA would be at the top of my list, along with Kirkham and Shelby. Next would be Midstates, Unique, Johnex and Everette Morrison. RUCC, and FFR would be next in line.

If you peruse the general forum section and visit www.cobraforum.com, you'll find that this question has been asked many times with many different responses. Good luck, you are starting the process by doing the most important thing....research.

Cheers
Jim

IBID to what Jim says. I'd put them in the same order. Although - I don't believe that ERA and / or Unique or Superperformance offer kits in "stages". I think that ERA and Unique do offer a kit with fewer parts - but you will need to buy those later. Superperformance - I thought - offers only complete cars minus engine and tranny.
