Cool RAKI = 110 Leaded Octane Racing Gas

Okay. I had to look this one up. Jay, 'you snortin' this stuff? Do you do it with fruit? I think I know now why you requested "no-smokin'"...this sh!t is high octane.

The best way to drink raki, which is famous as the Turkish national drink, is with flat cylindrical glasses and cold (8-10 degree). One can drink it with water, straight, with soda or mineral water.
Although Raki which is a distilled alcoholic beverage strongly aromatized with lots of anise, it can be consumed as a cocktail, but more commonly it goes best with cold hors d'oeuvres. For example; Russian salad, garlic sauce, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, cold-cuts, fried pastries, cold yogurt soup, brains, shrimp, mussels vinaigrette are followed by entrees such as shish kebab, mixed grilled meats, steak, fish (pan fried, grilled, in the oven) and finally fruit. The type of fruit does not meter. It can be any kind of fruit depending on the season. Especially in Turkey, melon and feta cheese are the best combination for accompanying raki.

The nector of the gods, actually.

Around here we trade our moms' baklava to get a bottle of the homemade kind.

Have you switched to that low octane taquilla stuff ?
Kinda seems UnTexian to not stick with the good high octane Tequila to me.

Default and one more thing...

I promise my last rant but when I was at the BJ auction last week a 1963 VW Window Van sold for $198,000. Yes you read right $198,000!! Absolutely nothing there other than a mint restoration. The restorer could not possibly have been into the VW for more than $50k. No way possible he could have spent more than that unless he was burning dollar bills for the sake of wasting money. No unique pedigree, no famous owners, no rare serial number. Nothing absolutely nothing besides a nice restoration. Stupid money? Purchased by someone with more money than brains? You be the judge...

Jay,
I did read this final award. It is indeed interesting.

More folks should be aware of what these clowns were trying to do. What struck me is they have probably been doing this for many years and until now, no one stood up to them.

I have to admit I really did like that car though.

For those who have any doubts get this from jay and read it. It will open your eyes!

Default just a brief update

As of yesterday if you are waiting on a check from RUSSO & STEAL don't hold your breath. There is a small matter of garnishment at J P MORGAN CHASE. A shame since they sold a lot of cars at Monterey last week and no one has been paid for their car yet. I hate to do this to the sellers and it will work out for them. Mess with the bull and expect to deal with horns.

Default winding down

Just to let ya'll know, the Arizona court of appeals has ruled and I am printing out their decision as I type this. My lawyers haver already notified me that the appeals court has denied Russo and Steele's request for appeal

Time for a drink of champagne after this almost four year battle. I hate crooks and liars.

Default Finally

Just been notified by the court that the appeal bond is going to be released in full. Russo and Steele cannot go further. Three years worth of BS and $295,000 in fees. Luckily I get most of that back.

Still going to lose money but I have justice and maybe they wont do this to anyone else (not that is dreaming).

One Johnny Walker Gold coming up.

Jay
