Disatisfied Still
I was depositioned by both Classic Roadsters and Double Venom's atty's.I will scan, paste and post the info which is now a matter of sworn testimony. I do not know how to do this , I have to wait until my brother is availible should be latest wendsday.Iwill also give some other details about what I and my wife have been through.I have video'ed other cars like mine.I'm not very good at that either,so I am having my car done by my brother.I am going to send several people copies as soon as I can.If anyone is interested I will send them a copy for the cost of a tape plus shipping this would be about 10.00 dollars. Thank you for time I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through what we have endured.

Bill Wells your question
Bill the post pertains to a post made by me on 12-20 2000 I was asked not to continue unless and or until such time when I could be specific with respect to my claims.this I believe was a reasonable and sensible request one I chose to comply with. The time has come where I can at least respond to that request with some factual sworn testimony,I will however give some additional information. Can just barely do what I am doing now on a computer can not scan paste & post, tried but can't.

I found the Dec 2000 referenced post/ thread and read it. It would appear from your current comments that you have only recently been deposed, then there has not been a finality to the suit is my take on this ? Guess maybe a final ruling would determine whether you won or lost, once the litigation is ruled on , correct ? It seems like you have already determined the outcome in your own mind. Guess I am missing something outside of your frustration. I have not had any dealings with either but have only read positives about DV so can't comment personally. As my pappy used to say: " there are 3 sides to every story...yours...mine...and the facts" . In my dealings with law suits (as a corporate bystander or participant during my working days...I am NOT a lawyer) I never passed judgement til all sides were heard, never drew a conclusion based on only one set of depositions and found that the judges many times made decisions different than my own conclusions. My pappy also used to say: "peace, love and harmony". Good luck in your quest. Bill.

Hold Off
Fatman,
Your deposition is just that - YOUR deposition, nothing more, nothing less - it is evidence, but not necessarily facts anymore than DV's will be.
Please wait until the Court decides - we don't need any more static on the site for awhile. You may be 100% correct and win the court battle and that will give you credibility - the outcome will be a fact

I've read the other postings Here which gave very little in the way of detailing your complaints (type it out if you have to, do not scan documents and then email them to people with slow internet connections), and will not draw a conclusion until we see some hard facts, and perhaps a judgement ruling in your favor.........
Bill S.
PS: On another note, since your not located in Kentucky any longer, but in Ohio, perhaps it's time to update your CC profile (ask your brother for assistance if need be)............

Thorn , Bill
What you both have said seems to make more sense the more times I read it I guese what I was trying to prove is that I am not a liar ,after my original post I was called that and worse. The case was set for trial 11-13-2001 it was continued ,in part because Classic Roadster's atty. stated in his motion that "negotiations have broken down".There have never been even any overtures of settlement talks to me or my atty. Therefore his statement is not true, the statement is an unmitigated lie.If you or I said that to a court we would be in serious trouble. It is typical of the way this suit has been handled by the defendants and their atty's.I'll send you a video if you want me to. Thanks for your input

Excellent question
Fatman,
I too would like to see an itemized list of complaints...be very specific, in regards to them...Otherwise, we have nothing to base our opinions on, other than your particular lack of information, or lack of any answers to the questions imposed here and on the previous thread mentioned in my post above. No video is needed,no large scanned files, just the facts on this forum...................

I drive, therfore, I am, also, what's behind me is not important.
In regards to what your posted, it makes about as much sense. Fatman has posted before, yet has failed to be specific about his complaints. With any dealer/consumer problems or complaints, it is always wise to display the specifics about the complaint or problem in question.

Just because it holds no interest to you, does not mean that it does not for others here on the forum(s).......As with everything else here, if you do not like the thread, don't read it again.

Bill, I am not going to pass judgement about keeping or not keeping this thread, but just as an FYI, this is about a year old subject that got pretty dirty with this guy toward Ed Combs (as in Spring Fling Ed Combs). Now he is raising the same issue again apparently as legal aspects are ramping up. I would assume you can read all the old posts if you search on "Fatman". The original thread was started on 12/25/2000 and had 36 posts.

Ed,
If you read my original posting to this thread, I did indeed have a link to the original thread.....My original (and still) point being that fatman has not given out any real specific complaints, only badmouthed another member of this forum with innuendo after innuendo, but still not facts of details..............What we are now trying to do is get him to list the specific problems he had, so we can all judge for ourselves whether or not he is being realistic, or not about his complaints.............Nothing more, nothing less................So, fatman, when you get around to reading this part of the thread, now is the time to list your detailed complaints (once again, be very specific, and do not attach or send large files)...........The ball is now firmly in your court (so to speak)............
Bill S.

As I said in an earlier post on this subject, there are three sides to every story: YOURS, MINE and the FACTS ! Since it is still in litigaion the court will decide the winner. My vote is the same as said by at least two others, FLUSH IT ! WHEN the outcome is known thru court decision then it will be time to post 'who won', until then it is just something 'swirling around in the toilet bowel' . Bill (FLUSH)

Moderator- lock it down again!
Wow,
This thing pops up again! It appears that nothing has changed since the first thread was locked down around Christmas, lawyers are still involved on both sides, Ed is still a "really good guy" and Fatman is still a non-contributor to our forum!
Lock it down until the courts declare a "winner", which is indeed a misnomer in this case.
Repectfully,
John Russell

For some reason (maybe because I was once moderator), fatman keeps emailing me documents about his case instead of posting them himself. I refuse to be his messenger boy.
Question: Does he not want to post the info under his name and ISP? That way he can't be blamed in court for slander or lying?
Doug, if you're listening, POST THE INFO YOURSELF! You nearly brought down my email with that humungo scanned document that contained absolutely no valuable information at all! It was merely a list of items that you found wrong with the car. Big Whoop.
Example from the scanned document sent to me: "Ignition box set to '6 cyl' instead of '8 cyl'.
Here is a thought, if you noticed this, then take yout thumb and fore finger and change the setting yourself! No need to start a law suit over this kind of stuff.
You have had nearly a year to gain some Internet experience and to learn how to use this board. So no more excuses.
If you are not going to do your homework and present ALL the facts, whatever they may be, then think twice about "stirring the pot".
I am not pro or con in this matter, but I'll tell you this......
If you have a valid claim, present the facts as they may be otherwise you just p1ss off the members of this forum with innuendo.
Now stop emailing me, please. Post it yourself!
