I know Chris (and his Mom) personally and I wish I could give you some good news. This is nothing new for Chris. I lost a 455ci Pontiac block to him that never got touched, let alone done. He was supposed to convert it from 2 bolt mains to 4 bolt mains and it never got done after YEARS. Chris is a good kid, a good friend and a talented machinist (he learned his skills at Skips) but not much of a businessman. His "shop" has moved more times than I can count. Where is he located now? Sorry for the bad news, Phillip Pollard (formally from Prunedale, CA) |
Hi Phill - thanks for the details and response.
I understand there are a number of people that have been trying to contact him, myself included. I agree - he is a good person and he does have that machinist talent to make engines work as they should. He has my FE engine that is supposed to be completed soon. I personally do not agree with the way he conducts business, especially not connecting back to his customers (and particular supposed friends). |
Owning your own business and working for someone else is completely different, I don't care how talented the individual may be. Some rise to it and understand, some don't.
Just my 2cents.... |
George,
You have been waiting quite a while ... I hope you get your motor back soon, so you can get your Cobra back together and on the road ... :) - Tim |
