What has happened to Everett-Morrison? I have known for about a week that there some problems and I have checked this site to see if anyone has picked up on it yet.
Last Tuesday (July 9th) I could only get a recording when I called
saying "we are closed for restructuring...no new orders to be taken at present...open orders to be filled...no planned date as yet for resuming production"
As a builder of Everett-Morrison cars I am deeply concerned.
Fortunately I have all the factory parts I need to complete the car I am currently building. What happens to the customer who bought only a frame and will be looking for a body in the future?
More questions than answers at the present time.
Everett Morrison is in the process of restructuring. Enzo has assembled two Everett Morrisons and would be willing to help anyone with technical assistance and or parts for their car.
Hi Chuck, I finished my EM about 6 months ago, it took about 8 months to complete, for that whole time, almost 1 1/2 years back EM was having problems, I visited their office several times and talked with Buford. It was something they were commited to working through.
They are a great bunch of professionals, (especially Bob) who I hope will come through this, Knowing them I feel that they will do everything in their power to not leave anyone hanging.
I heard from a very reliable source, that E-M is out of business !
Hate to see good people, who put their heart and soul into a
business, not able to make a go of it, for what ever reason.
I wish them well, in what ever direction they take.
Our best to you,
Bo

Not meant to offend, but check your spelling on the site... lot's of errors; might imply lack of attention to quality for a potential customer. Other than that - looks great, good luck!
Thanks Dan most of my work gets done very late so I have to edit a few times to get it right. thanks to good old websters that is. Ill try and keep up on it better this keeps me motivated though. check it tonight. thanks

Update as of 10/6/2002. The Everetts are hoping to reopen for business by year end. They say that the company is still solvent, and is looking for ways to reduce costs and streamline their operation for competitiveness in future. Buford says they still have all of their molds, jigs and hardware. All orders have been filled, all vendors paid in full. He believes that they will reopen in 2003 on a better financial footing, good for the long haul. Buford said that they will post some info on their website 10-6. I wish them well! www.everett-morrison.com
