Angry Team 3 Wheels

When ordering from Team 3 Wheels keep in mind the 4 week lead time is a myth. I ordered mine on 1-7-03 and received them today, 3-10-03, less the knock off's that were a part of the order. When Team 3 was called I was advised the knock offs were on back order and it would be another 3 or 4 weeks. Sooo, when ordering allow 12 weeks for receipt if in fact I get my knock offs. Just a little pregant.

If it's any consolation - they're worth the wait! It took me a while to get my spinners also, but when I finally got them they look great!

Got My Wheels 1st week in Feb. No Spinners as of yet. Will Call Scott tomorrow. I will say though that the wheels are first rate and look great with the GTII's even without the spinners.

I received my wheels after about 6 weeks and the spinners about 3 weeks later. The wheels are beautiful and worth the wait.

Worth the wait, I suppose one could say that about death also. What happened to supplying goods in the advertised time frame and advised if the schedule is not going to be met? In the future I suppose I will double all lead times and be happy if I get it early! An auto painter told me once, the longer it sits the less likely it will get done. Onward and Upward!

Wizard, I bet your hands are flat as pancakes by now! Talked to Scott at Team 3 twice last week. The spinners were due in Friday or Monday which he states means they will ship April 1 or 2. I suppose April 1 (April fools day) would be an appropriate ship date. Sooo, if they ship say mid week I will have them around the 7th which will make the total time for this order 12 weeks. As I respond the wheels still sit in the boxes.

Hey C Man

I Talked to Scott two weeks ago and he said he had received the spinners and were being shipped as he and I spoke. Exceptions were the polished ones (which I ordered) and those would ship in a day or two. Again that was two weeks ago. Yours is a different story. Are we starting to see a pattern here?

PS Hard to type with flat fingers.

Wizard, I also ordered polished and will admit that the same pattern has applied throughout this order. Won't be coming back as they say! I suspected this and that is why I did not mount the wheels. Fortunately I have others on the car. Fortunately I have a plan but as usual it will not be without cost. It would be nice to just get the KO's and get on down the road. Been messing with Cobra's a few years and this is only the second negative experience that I have had. First was paint job, imagine that. In most cases if I am having problems, others are also. Thanks for letting me know there are others in the boat. I will call this afternoon and see if I can get a tracking number. Scott is good at the game or I am poor one of the two. Talk with you soon Wizard. Onward and Upward.

Red face

Well.....I was promised wheels in 4 weeks; it took 8 weeks. Didn't get polished k.o.'s, tho. Started calling at 4 wks, and called every other day from there on out. Being from Jersey, intimately familiar with being a pain in the a$$. Did it work? - likely not, but when order landed it was complete, and, damn, do they look good. Scott pleaded problems with casting suppliers (center section of wheel), seemed plausible, so I waited. Impatiently, but waited. Did I say they sure look nice?
