Dallas Export
I bought a lot of new engine parts from them when I first started my build. This was about 2 years ago. From what I could tell looking at their engine offerings, and what they had in stock, they seem to use high quality parts.
They do most machine work in-house. I cannot state an opinion on assembly though, which of course is very important, but they do have repeat customers for engines, which is a good sign.
They use a lot of AFR heads on both Ford and Chevy engines that are CNC ported, and are very good. AFR has a wide selection of port sizes for small blocks that give a lot of flexibility depending on engine use or what your goal is.
They seemed easy to work with when I needed to swap things around a bit.
