Default Shelby & Chris Weisberg in Gardena CA

I thought it time I mentioned something about a newer member to our Cobra community and some of the positive results he's helping to make happen in Gardena CA.

Sometime last spring I called Mike about an Aluminum Shelby block I had on order and some machining questions. To my surprise a new voice was on the phone and it was Chris Weisberg and he informed me he would be helping me with my orders and questions in the future.

It's kind of hard to separate being a customer for the Shelby engine products....but this is an easy one.....
Chris you're a breath of Frest Air and those of us who are working with and talking to you really appreciate all your doing to improve the Shelby Products....

If you guys haven't called and talked to Chris ...you need to....he has some great ideas and is enjoyable to work with. He has a ton of ideas on blowers and other engine related stuff. He's a very good listener and has a great sense of humor too.

So Chris if you see this...I got ya!!!!! and thanks for all your doing to help those of us that count on your great products and service...Shelby is very fortunate indeed to have you on board!

George & Crew in Nebraska!

I forgot to include Consumer Information....

I have also had the pleasure to deal with Chris. Comes across as a super individual and helped me with my purchase as well as contacting me after to give me pricing on fittings. Look forward to dealing with Chris in the future.

Morgan

Lies, all lies!

I have to say it is a REAL pleasure dealing with George. Besides being a class act, he is knowledgeable and generous to boot.

When I came aboard last summer, I began to contact our Cobra dealers and engine block customers, not only to alert them of the personnel change in the engine department but to ask whether there was anything we could do better or should be doing differently. The response I got from George at Gessford Machine was outstanding. He has given us feedback on everything from what we do well, to how we can improve, to "wouldn't this be cool?". Speaking of which, Georgie Boy has some very neat things coming out soon...

While I have worked my entire adult life to date in this industry, I am still relatively new to things Cobra. There are a number of individuals and businesses who have been extremely helpful to this department as well as my own personal Cobra-community learning curve, from (in West to East order) SFfiredog, George, the Crafts, the Parhams, and some of the SAI Cobra dealers, just to name a few. When I have a question about something outside of my field of expertise and in theirs, every one of you folks bend over backward to educate me. In that same vein, this department's contact with end users and Cobra enthusiasts is by and large a great experience, not just a job. Morgan is just one of the many of you guys who make our experience in serving you, worth commuting to work the next morning. Even in L.A. traffic!

There is a sense of satisfaction in just doing a job to the best of one's abilities. It's also rewarding to work with such a great group of people. And there is no greater feeling of satisfaction than to receive a kind word of sincere gratitude and happiness from our customers.

So, thanks! And back atcha!

Chris

VitaminC Is this you Chris??? Where's my block?? Only kidding I want to THANK YOU for getting it shipping on time as promised and in perfect condition. You have really helped the Shelby motor division with your easy manner, understanding, and helping keep the conga line of blocks rolling out the door. Thanks for the heads up on the Lynn Park at petersons. Have ordered a tape of the show. As far as George A. keep him happy but have him whine a little. Thanks Rick Lake

Default Chris is a great asset to Shelby

The few times I tried to deal with Carroll Shelby Enterprises in the past I got a you can take it or leave it attitude. When I started dealing with Chris it was a much needed breath of fresh air. I believe Chris has been responsible for bringing the sales up for the company. He understands that in todays competitive market you can not count on yesterdays performance. I feel I can call Chris with any question and get a straight forward answer, something hard to get these days. I want people to know that Chris has gone out of his way to help me make all of my customers happy. I feel we will see some good things from Carroll Shelby Enterprises and Keith Craft Racing Engines in the future as we try to make better products for the FE engine customer. I give Chris a hard time about a lot of things but I know he is working to get us the products. Thanks and good job, Keith, Shelly and the Guys

George,
I thought Chris everything he knows.
I would be careful asking him ANY questions if I were you.
Just ask me, I will tell you what Chris ought to say..
Great to see two good guys recognize each other.

I would also like to thank Chris. At 4:20 PM on Thursday afternoon, I had discovered the main cap girdle we needed for one of 418 Windsors was the wrong type. I called Chis and said "man I need help". (It was 7:45 PM in Ohio). He said "No problem". He drove to Probe Industries and Fed X ed the part to me. How he made it in time I will never know! The part arrived on Friday morning and I was able to assemble the engine, and had a sucsesfull dyno sesion that same evening. I know we are in the same buissines, and sometimes compete, So that is why I am so grateful for the service he gave me. Chris, I hope I can return the favor sometime soon. Thanks so much, Eric Hinderberger
