How to accept payment for a car?

I unfortunately have to sell my Classic Roadster COBRA for business reasons. I have only had the car listed on the COBRA-
COUNTRY websit for 5 days and have been overwhelmed with
responses. (I think I put the price in too low). No one has actually stepped up to the plate yet but several are real close. The question to you fine folks is. Does life go on after this event.
I'm worried about my mental health.
The other question is how to accept payment from outside the area and not get scammed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that you have to sell the car. Maybe you'll be able to come back to it in the future.

As for selling the car, check with Mr.Mustang on this forum. He's got plenty of experience. I would recommend some kind of escrow service. I think the one I used a few years back was www.escrow.com You and the buyer can negotiate who pays their fee, which is fairly minimal. This service helps protect you and the buyer. Best of luck.

Cash is always nice! I also will take a bank check or bank money order but I always call the bank to make sure it's legit. Probably the best way is wire transfer, money gets in your account quick. You may have to have the buyer wait until it's received but your covered.
