Default Looking for a mechanic on Long Island NY

I am new to the club and first time owner of a '66 Lonestar Cobra replica. Looking for some recommendations of a mechanic on Long Island, New York. Preferrably in Suffolk County. In advance, thanks for the help!

J , Welcome to a new thrill ride. IMHO you have a tremendous amount of options for a Cobra mechanic on the Island. There is Nick from Classic Concepts in West West Babylon and then there is also Nick from Classic Concepts in West Babylon. In a pinch if you have a real problem that no one else can handle it , there is also Classic Concepts in West Babylon.

Think I am a little bit biased, he is not even related to me. Give this thread a few more days and your gonna see alot of guys he has powered up . Most think he walks on water.

Good guy you should check him out.

The preceding was not a paid commercial endorsement

Bill is right. I am a new cobra owner, so I haven't had to use Nick yet, but everyone on LI knows him and recommends him.

Besides, if you go on a Sat. you can get a great sandwich for five bucks! ( with hot peppers, of course)

J:
Nick's the guy. I live in Connecticut and know this. When my SPF needs whatever we hop onto the ferry and drive over to Nick's place. Even when the car's OK we hop onto the ferry and head over to Nick's place. It makes for a fun Saturday.

Nick has customized and installed motors in many of our Cobras . This week the first Shell Valley turnkey roller arrives ! And... wouldn't you know it the guys will swarm that new ride like they were writing an article on Shell Valley replicas for Newsday ! We have 36 dues paying members who help keep the "lounge" supplied with refreshments . It is the place to be on Saturday if you are looking to get fat and run with the Cobra-Nuts!

Jam...Didn't know about the Shell Valley Cobra, ya learn something new everyday.

If we have 36 paying members, how come we only have the BASIC stations with Direct TV ???

Goodmorning Guys,
JC, I have the highest respect for Nick Losurdo. Nick is conscientious and knowledgable when it come to Cobras. He is a Master Mechanic with 30+ years experience with Ford Motor Company. He treats all vehicles as if they were his own. He is verrrry reasonable and most of all he ENJOYS his profession. Come to his shop on a Saturday and have breakfast with us and you can see the works in progress and tap his knowledge. It will definitely be worth the trip. Call Nick at 1-631-643-4611 for directions. Hope to see you...........John (MY 401K)

Jcaffrey,
Can only repeat all the above positive chat about Nick. He's an honest, top notch skill guy that's a pleasure to do business with.
Fair and reasonable on parts and labor but overly generous on skill and Q&A with busybodies like us. We never stop chewing his ears and he never throws us out.
Sound like you need him?
Hope to see you around the shop.
