What Does a Person Do When...
What does a person/CC member do when they have discovered or uncovered a Cobra seller with less than ideal credentials or background? What's proper etiquette here? It's not my intention to ruin a person's reputation, but I also do want to inform prospective Cobra buyers of a potential problem.
Thank you.

I would try to PM or email the person with the questions you have, or with any issues you are aware of where there is information that is misleading or inaccurate and give them a chance to either explain or correct.
If after this step they are still a scoundrel, at least they had their chance to come clean before any public statements are made.
If this person has a documented general history of being a scam artist, I think most folks would like to know about it before buying from them.

Yeah, you gotta be careful how you approach it. Otherwise, you get sued for slander and the bad guy wins.

I have contacted the Cobra seller and have asked them to respond to the information that I uncovered. Trust me, I don't want to do anything even remotely mean-spirited or illegal, but somehow, if true, buyers should be warned.

I think a smart thing would be to PM the info that you wish to post, to either Jamo or Computerworks and they can probably let you know if it's appropriate to post it or not.

Just tell the truth!
Just post what happened. Try not to add anything but the facts. Nobody should have a problem with "Telling the truth", if they do, they have a problem.
Just tell it like it is! If they do good, tell it.
If not? Tell it!

You know things are written all the time in the second or third person. Usually, your info could be refered to as a seller you were attempting to do business with in Hometown, USA. And then state your facts as they pertain to your situation.
Then send your email to JAMO or Computerworks and they can determine if your situation should state who this party really is. Both of these moderators are extremely good guys that may know a little more about your person of intrest.

RodKnock,
If this person happens to be Daryl Holliday of Holliday Motorsports in Huntsville, TX, email me; I have a wealth of information concerning this individual/company.
