Just a little bit!
Yes, there's quite a bit of a difference.
In most cases, you get what you pay for. The better cars cost more.

Pick up any issue of Kit Car magazine...that will explain the differences in the kits.

Freds, take a look at the different manufacturers and their respective cars and you'll start to pick up on the differences and what is desirable.
Some of those differences include:
Body material, i.e. aluminum or fiberglass
Body's looks, i.e. faithful reproduction or were liberties taken with the design?
Suspension type, i.e. live axle or IRS
Suspension make up, i.e. Jag, original, BMW, or maybe donor Mustang
Frame type, i.e. round or square tube
Frame material & finish, i.e. wall thickness, stainless, painted or powder coated
Fit and finish of ALL the parts, i.e. do all the body panels line up etc?
Paint, i.e. is it a nice paint job or an Earl Schibe special?
Those are just a few of many points (with out even talking about the drive train) that could each be expounded upon adnausium. I came to this site with the same kind of questions in my head and the only thing that can get them answered is researching those individual manufacturers. You can start by looking through the threads for manufacturers under "forums" at the top of the page. There's allot of good info here.
Hope that helps, Steve

If you can posts some pic's there are a lot of members that can tell which kit it is. There are, as posted, a lot of different varieties out there!! The best thing I would say is get as much info as possible and pictures too. Sometimes these kits sound great and have a lot of great expectations but then reality sets in!! Some manufactures are gone and dried up, leaving you to fabricate everything. Gets some pic's together and get them posted here. These guy's will set you straight and be honest. Thanks, Matt.
