That's a tremendous gesture, John. I am so appreciative of what you and everyone else has done here. I'm hopeful that I can devise a plan to use only what's needed for my build and forward everything remaining to the next Cobra guy who needs help. I've said it many times here, and I'll say it again, you guys are incredible. I don't think it's sunk in yet what you're all doing. What an amazing group of guys you all are.

Thank you so much to those that have given so far. To date we have raised $2,855 in paypal and checks from 28 donors, plus a bunch of folks that have donated a lot of value in parts and services.

Thanks!
WOW! This is just unbelievable, incredible, amazing........I'm out of words to describe what you've all done. Just a quick story to let you guys know how what you've done here has helped. I went to the employee lot at the airport today, only to find that my daily driver, a nondescript 2005 Chevy TrailBlazer, was stolen. It's been a stressful and aggravating day to say the least, and with all that's gone on and going on in my life right now, this is the last thing I need. However, I just turned on the computer and read all the posts here and the wonderful, tremendously generous things that you've all done, and equally important, the supportive, kind words and thoughts that you've all sent my way, and I'm right back up and fighting again. I can't tell you guys how the things you are doing and saying here are helping, in a way that extends way past the build of the car. You guys are the best, I am incapable of adequately expressing my thanks and my admiration for you all. As I said above, you're an outstanding group of guys, and I thank you all so much.

Thumbs up

Doug,

I got it all packed up last night, please have Ed go through it all carefully, its a big box.... lots of ziploc bags of parts and what not.

On the list I found:

braided lines and fittings (AN, 6, 8 10)
Remote oil filter housing - Ford FE
2 MSD Caps
Breathers
ARP bolts
Fuel filters
Brake light switch
Ignition wires (2 sets)
Driveshaft safety loop

Additional bits and pieces.
I also found shoulder harness mounting brackets for on the rollbar

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

As you can tell from the number of my posts, I don't spend much time on the the CC site. So when DC Doug alerted me of 767s situation, I had to check it out. I just spent the last 2 hours reading the history of 767s build and subsequent issues, and I want help out.

I have the following items to contribute:
Snelling and Helling air cleaner.

Chrome 427 FE Valve covers

Mallory ignition coil and mounting bracket. Revised: I see you already have this.
(I wish I had as many FE heads as 302s)

I'll keep looking in my parts bins....

I also have a FE coolant reservoir tank...not pretty, but it doesn't leak.
Could you use this?

I would be glad to help with transportation or any other logistical issues that arise.

Kudos to David Kirkham, DV, Rick Lake, DC Doug and all the others who have stepped up with more than just moral support.

Thanks so much, Gary. That pump should work great. I really appreciate you sending it along, it's a huge help. Dallas isn't too far away I hope we get to meet one day so I can thank you properly in person.

Wow, Scott.....That's great stuff. The valve covers and air cleaner are exactly what I was going to buy. I appreciate your generosity so much, thank you! I think I'm ok for now on the expansion tank. The Contemporary requires the expansion tank to be altered, and the engine builder has altered the one on the engine that I have to sell. I'm planning to take the tank off of that engine since it's already altered. Unless FE's when purchased usually come with the expansion tank and it is expected to be on there, I was planning to sell the engine without the tank. The only way I'd need another is if I needed to put a tank on the engine to sell it. Thanks again, Scott, I appreciate it very much.

Doug,

Shipped the Holley Red Electric Fuel pump out at lunch and is scheduled to be delivered on Thursday. I now noticed we were suppose to put your name inside the package so let Ed know this is for your car. Funny I actually owned the Team Jenny Kirkham FIA for a year or so and didn't know Ed still collect for that project every year. Good luck with the car and your health!!

I really appreciate that, Gary. Thank you so much. I owe Ed a call just to touch base, I'm sure he's taking good care of the stuff that arrives. The Kirkham must have been an awesome car, aren't they all? Thanks again, Gary, I hope one day to return this kindness that you've all extended to me to another brother in need.
