Default ccx floor mount brakes

Hello mickmate, can you post some of the installation photos of your floor mount conversion. I think that some of the current ccx owners may be interested in this set up. I was never a big fan of the hung pedal assembly on the ccx cars, they were bolted into the fiberglass footwell without any reinforcements. Not to mention that the original cars had floor mounted pedals.

Do it, they are worth it! The box mounts to the footbox and is lagged to the outrigger for frame reinforcement. Stirdy and really sets off the look. It, at least in my opinion, set off the drive quality to match that of a CSX3000 car. Every show I only had favorable comments....

While your at it get the gas tank too....(Link below)
Comp style Contemporary tank Pics don't do it justice.....

If I would have remained owner of my CCX, regret it daily, the gas tank would have been next! It looks phenominal.............

The original pedal box set up bolts to the footbox top. It is pretty sturdy fibreglass. That one does bolt to the bottom of the footbox but it is also bolted through the back of the pedal box to the frame extension so it is tied directly into the frame of the car. Good question and yes it is more rugged than the factory set up.
