Late in production. Either in the last phase or close to it.
Guessing it is Burtis period.

I pointed out that car as early on in their auction, they had a later CCX number listed. I see now that it is gone, thought you might have been asking about that one. Or, could this be the one sold as a wrecked car with a new body and bare chassis included as a bundle in Arizona this past week. If not, give us a few more details and there are plenty of us who have personal experience with the cars both before, and after the company being sold to Burtis.

Default The serial number above is what I am considering

Jag xke front & rear, inboard brakes rear.
What else should I be looking at?
Based on everything I've read here, the sellers info.
The car appears right. Should a number on the frame match the dataplate?

Burtis was hit and miss about actually stamping a number in to the frame. You can take a look at the front drivers side top of the X mount where the suspension mounting pad would be.

Does the car have a round or square tube frame?

Does it have front coilovers. Pictures of the engine compartment (try to show all of it), trunk, dash area, and body shots would be a start.

Bill

Are you saying this as the car was sold and you saw parts or is it the #?

Jeff

Assume you spoke with Tom as well.

No, I'm saying that the car on Ebay showed a CCX number (they reference the plate on their car, but do not show it), I had an email from the seller with the CCX number and is turned into vapor, 9 pages of deleted emails (I get a lot of email every day) and it was not there any longer. Just wanted to make sure the OP did not get sucked up in to the spin of the Ebay seller, that is all.

Yet that is not the VIN they sent me, still trying to find the correspondence, I know I did not dream it as my dreams are far more colorful and usually have naked women in them and not cars
