Dove is synonymous with casting porosity. I wouldn't want to chance running one. Anyway, as mentioned they're cast aluminum and bare very little resemblance to an OEM one. My $.02...

Thanks, I have a tank that was chrome plated from the previous owner, it has a small leak, with the chrome makes it difficult to find.I actually started my search for a new tank.

There is a company called FCRC Machine that sells a aluminum expansion tank for 159.99, under the name Champion it looks pretty nice.

There are some nice polished stainless ones out there. I bought mine from Hillbank.

The height needs to be shortened to fit the CCX. Keep them in a material easy to modify, new is best.

After repeated leaks I desoldered my entire tank, cleaned all the soft solder off and resoldered the whole thing with grade III silver solder. 7 years later, not one leak.

Thanks for all the Advice, I found a short neck tank as Nick stated. I should know in a few days when the tank arrives. Also Leon if you want my old tank send me a note. Thanks everyone.
