Default Sidepipes

Does any company make replacement Sidepipes for our cars with 427? The bottom of my sidepipe had been scraped in the past and repaired for small hole. Would like to know if there is anyway to replace them in the future if I need to.

Pat

Hi Pat.
Maybe you might want to contact Nick Acton?

Pat
Is the scrape and repair on the muffler body or on the pipes leading into the sidepipe muffler? If it's on the muffler, you can do what I did and just cut out the muffler part and weld in a new muffler body. I used Classic Chambered mufflers.

ERA pipes and exhaust headers are a straight bolt on, just saying.

Thanks everyone. I didn’t see any that match on the Acton site. ERA I can’t find a parts section to look it up. Does gasnpipes have a site?

It’s just the rear half where the mufflers are. It unbolts from the headers and has a bolt at the rear holding it to the frame. Stainless.

Who's kit do you have, and are the sidepipes parallel to the road, or do they did or hang down towards the rear?
