Jeff: Your pedals look cool, I have some like that, but they're still in the box. o: But my immediate need is to identify my clutch master cylinder. I just talked to XKs Unlimited, but they don't think it is off an XKE. I was hoping to identify what mine is, order a new one, dump the old and bolt in the new. Might you have a photo of your master cylinder? Worst case, I'll take off my clutch master cylinder, take vital measurements, locate a similar component and order a new one. I just got the beast back on the road after a lengthy rebuild, and hate the idea of having to park it again: eek Rich

Looks good, but do you know what kind of clutch master cylinder you have? Rich

Thanks, Jack, I decided to go with a 3/4" Girling from Pegasus, same as my brake master cylinders. I figured it would be large enough to work without too much leg pressure, especially compared to those mechanical clutches we used in the sixties. Rich

The trick to these is the heim jointed rod through both masters with the pedal pushing in the middle like this PhotoPost Classifieds - CNC dual master cylinder with adjustable bias - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds

Their balance bar isn't mechanically adjustable. They get front rear balance hydraulically like the originals. I found a pic Drew put up of his which is a good one.

Master brake cylinders
