Tell the insurance Co to move things along so you can get your bid in.

I'm workin' on it Mick. I'm also thinking about fuel cells and seats and cam shafts and a few other things for another car I'm looking at. This car shopping stuff is hard work.

It's fun though, isn't it?
I enjoyed speaking with you the other day. Has the insurance company decided if they can fix yours? I certainly hope so - it looks like it was and could be again a beautiful car. I hate to see any CCX taken off the road, they're just awesome cars, and like waterfront real estate, they're just not making any more.
All the best to you, Dan.
Doug

Looks like I get my wish. We did a little horse trading and I may have a new red Contemporary. THe insurance lady left me a voicemail. The repair estimate on my car is $54,944. That's a bunch. They are going to total it. The guy with the red CCX has reduced his price to a point where I don't think I can say no. I looked at Jim's car, and it's beautiful, but when I figure what he wants for it plus what it would cost me to transport it to Arizona, I just can't justify it against what the guy in CA settled on for the red one. If you know anyone on the east coast who is looking for a contemporary, that blue car of Jim's would be a great buy with only 800 miles on it.
Thanks for the tip. Even though it did't work, I appreciate the effort.

No alcohol involved in the accident....although the possibility of too many cell phones is evident.

Dan,
Just remember it took Mike D 12 years to build his car. Might take 30 to remove the stereo.
