I have finished, with a lot of help from Reed and Buddy from the WCCC, my TKO conversion. Shifts like a dream. I also have listed my toploader for sale.
It's been discovered that on my 427 block, the builder used mismatched 390 heads. One side is truck and one car. Who would do that? Added to that, one cylinder has no compression and another has 50%. So I'm basically driving a big block V6. I am pretty much convinced on going with Keith Craft Edelbrock stage II CNC heads. Any one out there have an opinion? I am curious to see the true performance of this car when it is set up right!
