Default Polyurethane Steering rack mounts for XKE racks

I was looking for alternatives to the mushy rack bushings for my Contemporary, and found these at SNG Barrett:

http://www.sngbarrattusa.com/catalog...&back=y&next=y

Besides being less pricey than the Billet mounts available, they still offer some impact compliance. I installed them on my car and they vastly improved thr steering response.

It was'nt easyto locate them, so I thought i would give you guys a heads up....winter project perhaps?

SNG has always treated me right, Tony and Mike are A-1 guy's!

One of the first things I did after I purchased my Contemporary was to firm things up. I purchased the aluminium billet steering rack mounts and the mushy steering was gone. But the steering is not for the faint of heart. My leather gloves help a lot, but I'd like to consider a 14" padded leather steering wheel for autocrossing and general driving. I can always put my woodie back on for shows (for correctness).

I'd like the new wheel to be black leather and a bolt-on replacement, with the same general appearance as my woodie. Anyone have one available or knows who might have one for sale? Rich
