Default Suspension and Tire Help

I have any early Contemporary Cobra and I recently changed my rear tires from BF Goodrich Drag Radial 275-60-15 to 275-50-15 and had the rear suspension adjusted for the new tires. It looks good from the side of the car, but I noticed that the frame is lower in the rear by 1". Should the frame(the lateral round tube) be level or is it OK to have it lower in the rear?

Does anyone know the correct inflation for the 235-60-15's and the 275-50-15"s? I have them set at 30 lbs and hope this is correct. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Len

I would adjust the car to height preference and stance that you like and not worry about the difference in frame height. Having got it set up where you like it and it works without rubbing (too badly) etc check the caster angle of the front end on an alignment machine. Tire pressure sound close, watch the tire wear carefully for a while and make sure it is uniform. The wide tires are prone to bulging out the centre of the tread with too high a pressure.

the rear of the car is lower not just because you adjusted the shocks but your 50 series tires are shorter than the 60 series tires and now you have changed you front end caster angle and you've changed your speedo reading also.....you should have stayed with the 60 series tire.
