A little help for a newbie
Hi all, I just joined this site as I've loved cobras since I saw my first one as a youngster...I'm involved in a discussion on another site (www.pistonheads.com) about Cobras and was wondering if anyone here could tell me the current situation regarding the Willment Ghia-bodied Cobra which was fitted with a Ghia body originally from a Fiat 8V. I saw a feature on this car in Classic & Sportscar Magazine sometime in the 80s and it stuck in my mind.
Thanks in advance, Pothole (ex-UK, now living in Malta) |
anyone? anyone?

CSX 3055 "Willment Ghia-bodied Cobra" is a one off.
-- there are pictures of it on the web and it appears (in text form) in Trevor Legates book, "Cobra The first 40 years" on page 139. -- When you say the situation with it -- I am not sure what you mean. Steve |
SAAC registry has the story of the Ghia bodied Coupe, page 681. Fiat 8V body from the 50s was found in an English scrapyard and adapted to the Cobra chassis. Currently reputed to be in So Cal in a private collection.
